Coaching and Evaluations

Get your Song "Pitch Perfect"

While there are songwriters out there who seem to be born with an incredible gift for words and music, many of us have to work hard at it. So, how then do you take your song to the next level? Songwriting is like any other skill – you get better with practice! Of course, there are no guaranteed “step-by-step” instructions on how to write a hit song. However, there are plenty of “shared traits” that all hit songs tend to have!

Have your song(s) critically evaluated by Sandy Ramos and learn about the songwriting/music industry from Sandy Ramos and Jeffrey Nelson using the SongTuner’s evaluation and coaching services.

All evaluations are personally completed by Sandy and she always tries to get to every submitted song within 5 working days. If for some reason it may take longer, Sandy will try to notify you beforehand.

Unless Sandy asks you to send the re-write directly to her on your evaluation sheet, you will need to re-submit it through the website. Sometimes an evaluation for a re-write takes more work than a regular one because there is a lot of “back and forth” between the original lyric and the new one. If Sandy believes you are only a line-tweak or two away from being finished, she will let you know that.

Yes and yes! Most of Sandy’s work is in evaluating the lyrics.

Unfortunately, Sandy does not put music to writers’ lyrics anymore. However, she can refer you to a few people that will do “work for hire” melodies!

Yes, this is a separate service. If you decide that you would like to pitch your song, you can visit the Pitch to Pro Pipeline. You will find a group of different publishers, song pluggers and producers as well as the cost to submit songs to them.
